I am going to buy lots of veggies and I need a dip recipie. I just can't see me eating a carrot without dip. Other veggies are ok though. Thanks.

This is a great pesto recipe:

1 cup of basil
1/4 cup of sesame seeds or pine nuts
2 pieces of garlic
some oil
dash of salt
1/2 lemon juice

an alternative would be parsley instead of the basil.

Is it good with sesame seeds instead of pinenuts? Not bitter?

I Love this one. It can ge used for many things. Dip, taco/sandwich Spread
Yummy! you'll be hooked on it. All my non-raw friends love it. Also @ office party's where very few are "raw" always request it so if everyone loves it it must be good.

you could also make a guacamole dip, with advocado, garlic, coriander, olive oil, and maybe some peppers.

i also like dips too. Have you Alissas book? she has a good recipe for zuccini hummus in there, thats really nice as a dip.

best wishes,
sal
