View Full Version : your fav LIGHT recipe?

I haven't been able to stomach much lately. My food has to be *very* light-no nuts, no dried fruit, no seeds, you get the idea. I'm going shopping this morning and I can't think of a THING to make for myself for the week.

So, tell me what your fav. non-heavy recipes are.

oranges!!

i've been having trouble lately as well, and have been eating a lot of water-rich fruits. it has helped :)

but ok ok..recipe wise?

maybe the banana mango pudding? the recipe floats around here often. it's basically just two mangos and a banana blended in a blender until smooth. it's fab-u-loouss :)

For a quick light meal I do this often:

1 cucumber
1 avocado
tomatoes
cut up and mixed with apple cidar vinager, dash of celtic sea salt
and a squirt of raw honey or agave.

really simple and easy and I am satisfied after eating this.
Now it does have the avocado in it, so not sure if this is too heavy for
you or not??!?!? I find it lighter than recipes involving lots of nuts/seeds
anyway.
