Without having anymore information, all I can guess is that you are not eating enough...so, eat more... OR give more information so you can receive more specific advice.
There is absolutely no reason for anyone to be "starving" or even hungry. If you are ~ eat. It's quite simple really.

If you are starving- EAT :D (just kidding- I could not resist)
What types of food are you eating? I have found avocadoes to be very satisfying at first.

Yes, please do share with us what a typical day of eating is like for you...what are you eating? But as Revvell stated, if you are hungry, you need to just eat more...carry things to eat with you when out and about. It's gonna be that way at first, but eventually (if you stick with it) you will find that you might not need to eat as much...but for now, EAT UP! :)
i started by eating a grapefruit in the a.m., then follow this up an hour later with an apple or an orange, then in another hour i eat some carrots or veggies and so i keep doing this all day long.....i am hungry constantly....i usually have a big salad with raw seed/nuts in it for lunch followed again later on by more fruit etc....do you see the pattern here?

Does one grapefruit usually fill you up or do you find you could eat more than that? If you were to do smoothies that might fill you up for a longer period of time because in a smoothie, you can get more than one piece of fruit in there so it's like consuming more all at once...couple of bananas, an apple or two, some berries, and a handful of greens (kale, baby spinach, parsley, etc.)
I mean, it's okay to eat many small meals or "graze" if that doesn't bother you or affect your day, but if you feel like you want to eat something then not eat for at least a few hours later, I'd say you need to consume more at one sitting than you're doing now.
great ! i will try the smoothie idea....the thought of sitting down and eating 4 oranges and grapefruit and a banana etc....kind of makes me feel ill !! normally i have a pretty healthy appetite, but sitting down eating a lot of fruit at one time is hard for me...

Keep us posted how that works out for you!
one more question...how do you shop? i mean if i am consuming this much fruit and veggies, do you buy wholesale or something....i guess i'm having a tough time getting started...i feel like i'm all over the place here ! any advice would be appreciated

Well, me personally, I get my greens and most of my veggies from the local food co-op as I like to at least get those organic. But I get a lot of my fruit from Costco such as my large bag of frozen strawberries (for smoothies ;) ), bananas, sometimes apples, pineapple, melon and oranges (they recently started selling oranges by the case).
But I have a family of 6 (husband and 4 children). For you I'd suggest that until you figure out your pattern of eating (especially if you're a single person) , you might want to just get small amounts of food and maybe shop a couple of times a week so that things don't go to waste. I did this in our earlier stages of transitioning to raw...I'd buy ALL this produce only for much of it to end up spoiling and going to waste...I was buying too much at first. But after a while, I just decided to stock up on things like nuts, seeds, etc. but we just went to the store twice a week for produce. Now, we go once a week because we have a better idea of how much we eat and how long stuff will last in our home.
When we lived in MI, I used to get all my produce from a local fruit market that had VERY reasonable prices (sure miss that place) and my bulk nuts, seeds and condiment items I got from a natural food store in our area.
Hope this helps!
