okay, if we go through "detox" during our transition into raw, will there be a detox for everytime we eat cooked foods? Or is it just a quick, small thing like diarrhea maybe? Have you noticed, what happens when you do eat cooked food?

I simply do not digest cooked food as well. I have yet to do more than a few cooked foods since going Raw 7 months ago so I cannot relate an experience for a cooked meal. I have noticed though if I eat a grain cooked, like the Kashi Bar one day, I ended up with acid coming back up into my throat Cranberry Almond Kashi Bar I ate one night when out on the road...HOURS later I was bringing acid up into my throat..sorry TMI ! it would not digest properly.

If I ate cooked food, my heart would beat so fast I would either vomit or have to go to the ER. My chronic pain & moods would come back. I would look like a ZOMBIE in the mirror the next morning.

I haven't done it in almost a year and don't plan on ever doing it again, but the last time I ate cooked I got a lot of mucus, a "cold" and sore throat that lasted a week and my fibromyalgia pain came back. Definitely not worth it! :-)

I personally cannot tell you as I've not eaten cooked food for almost 2 years. However, my husband will eat raw food with me for a few days in a row, and when he reverts back to SAD, he doesn't feel "good". Says he feels sluggish, sometimes gets an upset stomach, and headache. And this is usually immediately after or during eating.

Oh, I would like to add that when I got over dairy in the beginning I learned 1st hand the dangers of what it really carries. I had NO idea how nice it was to be over such a poison until I consumed some chocolate milk. The next morning, my ear was swollen shut, I had bronchial issues, headaches & it felt like my entire body had some weird infection.

It took me 2 weeks to get over it.

I felt SO bad that I promised myself to never feel that way again.

We think that stuff is harmless, but rid your body of it & you'll learn how dangerous it always was.
