Okay i actually made in trough one day of 100% raw,But my body is just not tired.I should be very tired being that i was not able to get to much sleep the prior 2 days. But i forced myself to go to bed and i slept 2 1/2 hours now i am up and i feel wired like i drank a pot of coffe. Now this did happen last time i went raw.Any body know what this could be.does anyone get insomnia from eating raw? If so how long did it take before the insomnia feeling passed?thanks

I know that while fasting the body now has more energy instead of using its energy to digest. Maybe while on raw foods you're getting more energy because it doesn't need to digest AS MUCH food or as hard as it previously was?

Have you just stopped eating all grains? For a full MONTH, I had sleep problems when I stopped the grains. Those are very druglike and sedating, so I guess it was like a rebound thing. Eventually it got better.

Hi Fruit,
this happened to me in the first few days of high raw, then again when i went totally raw.
I exercised lots and spent lots of time on this board going through old posts, researching etc!
I had so much energy, i didnt know what to do, coming from a place of illness it felt so strange....
anyway, I still have loads of energy but the sleep pattern balanced after about five or six days.
I sleep for about six maybe seven hours now and have plenty of energy all day long.
I dropped the caffeine before going raw, just drank water or fresh peppermint tea
Everybody is different. You will find your way!
Stick with it! :)
