I haven't posted in a long while. Lately the raw food way has been on my mind. I would really like to accomplish this change. I was thinking that taking a vacation somewhere like a raw retreat would be a good idea. Many people have posted that if they can go 4-5 days 100% raw, they seen to have a handle on cravings and such.
Does anyone know of someplace like this? I have done a little reseaarch, but it seems that all are very expensive. I would appreciate any ideas.

If you can not find a place within your budget then you could rent a cabin or such in a location where you will not have access to a store and take the raw food that you require for a week and lots of raw inspirational books and go there and just relax and read.
But make sure that you take lots of food because being hungry is such a turn off at the beginning.
You will come back a new person and will probably have gained more knowledge from all the reading, than you would on a raw retreat.

Sport, I love that idea! To be able to relax and read, read, read...and if you take your own food......how about somewhere that you know a farmers market would be close by, where you could spend time wandering through the fresh fruit and veggies? And buy what looks good to you THAT DAY, then the next day, do the same...buy your produce and go to your hideaway and enjoy (and read....I guess you can tell I LOVE to read!).
