I'm making Alissa's Cinnamon Raisin Bread and I sprouted the barley for 24 hours. I put the barley in the food processor and it stayed whole. Is this normal? I think I may have a bad food processor.

The same thing happened to me when I did wheat berries. That was weeks ago and it has taken me until now to try them again. This time I am going to let them sprout for longer.
