So up until this past summer, I was living in the Windy City (went to college there for 4 years and then spent another year working downtown). I moved to Vermont, and am potentially moving back to Chicago this summer. Just wondering who on these boards is from Chicago? Have ya'll eaten at Karyn's on the North Side? It would be my dream to work there when I move back! And attend the Chicago raw foods meet up.

Anyhow, just looking to connect with fellow Chicagoans =)

Welcome Onesmartcookie!

I am here in Chicago. Karyn's is a great spot and also we have a new spot called Cousin's IV with Chef Mehmet Ak. Another good spot!! Paul Nison will be Mehmet's guest at a book signing and presentation on the 19th of April.

I went to U of C--south side pride! I had a WONDERFUL time there--excellent education (am hoping I will start reaping the benefits, um...SOON!). Then after I graduated I moved to the Northside, Lakeview/Belmont area. I lived at Oakdale and Broadway and had THE BEST time there too.

I just LOVE Chicago and want to be back there so bad. If I move back I will be living in Hyde Park again, which is slightly inconvienent, but...better than Vermont!
