I made Alissa's pizza wrap over the weekend but i didn't try it until the following night, when it came out of the dehydrator i put it in the fridge. When i went to eat it it smelled really funny, kind of like bad sprouts. Anyone else face this problem? I have noticed it with almost all of the sprouted breads. They smell almost bad.

They shouldn't smell bad. If they do - don't eat them!

How are you sprouting them? I'm addicted to the San Francisco blend from Sprout People . Com. Beans, garbanzos, peas, adzukis, lentils. I eat them faster than I can sprout them.

I made Alissa's pizza bread ( it was great!) and it lasted an incredibly long time for me- so it cant be the recipe. Perhaps one of the ingredients you used was off? I kept mine wrapped in the cupboard- not fridge. Maybe yours wasnt finished dehydrating, or got damp in the fridge? Try again with fresh ingredients--the recipe is a winner!

I dehyrdrated it at 105 degrees for about 19-20hours and it was still moist, the edges were crisping up alittle so I took it out because the recipe said make sure it was still pliable. So yours was not moist? and you could wrap it around stuff? I was really looking forward to this, I may try again.

I don't think the problem is with dehydrating but with sprouting. How are you sprouting the grains?
