you have not seen these yet:
Nora at 47 (from http://www.rawschool.com):

(diet - raw, mostly fruit)
Janie at 39 (from http://www.ringlet.org):

(diet - raw, mostly fruit)
I feel so inspired by these women! Not only by how fabulous and young they look (pictures speak more than words), but mainly by their inspirational stories.
Look at Janie's kitchen:

Recently, our family got rid of the stove too (we still have an electric rice cooker for the kids). Coming to this decision was a gradual process. I look forward to more raw bliss in the future.

Great post Gosia, along with awesome health benefits, still being a babe at 40 is another huge thing that inspired me to start raw at 19. If everyone was raw, 40 would be the new 25! :p

Yep these people have been the ones that have inspired me also... Although I feel a "want" for some of these dehydrated goodies I have seen lately.. all of these people folow a mostly fruits diet...
sometimes I wonder if my fat old body of 50 would ever get that small?? Ever wonder what you would look like thin? Wish I had a software to give me an idea... lol
Gosia, Have you posted your kitchen pic in the post for what raw kitchens look like?? Would love to see it..

Thanks RawTruth for posting these photos!
Aromaticwings, yesterday I took some photos of our kitchen in preparation for on-line sharing (I will do this when I find some time to transfer the photos). Our kitchen is a mess though. We recently bought a house (we chose one with a big 1300 m2 land, so that we can grow fruit trees), and we painted most of the house, except for the kitchem which still needs quite a bit of work! In our kitchen (with no stove), fruit are displayed anywhere we can fit them, bananas in boxes, mangoes in boxes, grapes in baskets etc. We keep nuts in jars and greens in the fridge.
Children still like having rice (we have an electric rice cooker). But after rice, Julia says that she is still hungry and demands a mango every night before going to bed. I am not surprised.
Rawpriestess, nod nod.

Will be looking forward to them... I love seeing kitchens.. especially now of raw kitchens... even if they are messy... gives me an idea... If anyone lives in an apartment I sure would love to see where you store the foods there too... I am afraid to buy much for two reasons I worry I won't eat it all before it goes bad and won't know what to do with the rest... and two.. I have no idea where to put anything once I get it...

Your daughter is adorable... :D I am so trying to get my grandkids and daughter to go raw.... she just had another seizure today and she blames her lack of sleeping on it... but I feel it is also her diet...

I am sorry to hear about your daughter, I hope that she will get better. I know what you mean. I also wish this to my extended familly. I am lucky that my husband was open to change.
In the past, when I first went raw, sometimes I was trying too hard to convince my family about raw. I learned that it's best not to do this, I would hate someone doing this to me too. People love freedom. Gentle approach works better.
Also, if one is a shiny example, others will wonder and some might follow. I certainly feel inspired by those who shine, people like Alissa, Nora and others.

Thank you... She will .. Like me she is finding that diet and rest allows her to do without meds... but she is still SAD. But I coach her when I can.. some soaks in some doesn't. ...I find for me... this is all I need also.. I have not had meds for several years now. and going raw so far has not made a relaps.. sometimes my head will have a twinge.. of numbness or pain... then goes away.. I used to get these frequently just before a seizure... this is one reason I have asked about the detoxing and how old meds will react... I am scared of another seizure...
Anyway.. she is ok and thanks for saying that about her...
I understand what you mean about the rest of the family.. My oldest.. states he does not like to be prophetized to... I think this is the word.. he used.. something like that... but he had read writings on buddah and decided to do vegitarian ..along with the PETA. So I had suggested that this is the next step.. to pure unadulterated good food nutrition.. maybe it is my words.. who knows.. I told him it is my right and my duty as a parent to let him know of the benefits and point him to the liturature and then he can do his own research... to decide.. that I was NOT pushing or preaching anything... just giving him the knowledge to do with what he choses.. my parental right..<evil grin>
