Hi!! I am a 35 year old mother of two 7 and 12. I feel like I am 75. I weigh 235 pounds and it is climbing. I have tried everything from diet pills to starvation with no change. I have arthritis in both knees. I can't unload my groceries without becoming winded. I sleep at least 10 hours per day, and feel exhausted when I fall into bed at night. I am currently taking 40 mg of Paxil daily due to paralyzing anxiety attacks. I am hoping this is the answer to my prayers.

Welcome Jeanna,
I am in Texas.. My name is Debbie... I wanted to tell you that you will feel fantastic after a few weeks on raw.. I weighed 305 lbs when I started... and also had arthritis in my knees.. and seemed to be moving to my back. and shoulders.. Since going raw I do not have this problems any more... Now I am not 100% raw yet.. this is eating raw pretty much 85%. bouncing back and forth has frustated me big time and do feel a nagging feeling to be 100%. the closer I am in a days time the better I feel and alot more energy.
We live in a second story apartment and I tell you.. We moved here for exercise of going up and down the stairs.. but it got to where I was having troubles doing that with my knees and breathing... especially with groceries.. my hubby had surgery on his back a few years ago so going upstairs for him with groceries is hard.. so I am the one dragging them up most of the time... huff puff... but I sure feel so much more like doing it with being raw.. I also feel like a big dark cloud has been lifted off me.. so please continue getting into raw.. do not be put off by expense and the need for fancy machines... for dehydrating and blending... I am sure the more expensive ones are better and more versitile but I have done well with a 30.00 dehysrator from Wal-Mart and a 30.00 food processor that I do not really use much... I would miss the blender tho.. but again it is just a like 30.00 cheapie... Someday I will have the expensive ones but these work for now... oh my juicer was in the same price range...
keep reading and get Alissa's book...
Welcome again to the group you will learn a bunch here.
