Hi! I started the raw food diet a couple of months ago and am still having some problems. I need some advice if someone has any for me. I am finding that I am not getting enough food throughout the day. I just started a new job and it's difficult to stop and eat when I work in a busy kitchen all day. Also, fruit and salad isn't very filling. I'm also finding that I don't have the time to make much because I come home so exhausted from work. I just added some cooked food back into my diet because I was feeling so sick by not getting enough raw food. I don't like it that I added the cooked food back in. Any quick and filling suggestions to fill me up when I'm starving?

I too don't like it when I eat cooked. I immediately get constipated and feel grody. I would recommend making some raw crackers and nut paté to work. Also you could keep a few avocados in your desk at work, some coconut oil, and some raw nut fudge balls. Keep them in your desk, or in the office fridge (nut paté). You can do it. I also keep a few of my little cheat things (pretty harmless) around for when I get the urge to splurge. My splurge items are pickled sushi ginger, raw chocolate nut balls etc.

hi cheflissy , the meal that fills me up is grinding up in blender into bb sized bits nuts , seeds and dry fruit like almonds , walnuts , sunseeds , raisins , pineapple , etc . i do big batches of this so when hungry its ready . then i eat this out of a bowl with cinnamon sprinkled on and bananas cut up in . and i imagine if you like nut milk you could pour that on it . good day :)

Can you outline what you are eating adn we will fill in with some suggestions and maybe eve include what time of day you work and what time lunch is--pretty pleeez. :)
