I know people are saying don't eat fruit, Victoria Boutenko says eliminate all fats for 10 days-but what works???

I'd love to see a typical daily food diary of those not eating fruits on raw. What DO you eat????

I am having candida "issues". I am so tired of this!! This is why I quit raw in the first place. at 6 weeks last time I was so fatigued I could barely walk up stairs and my allergies were as bad as ever. now it's been almost 5 weeks and I'm just STARTING to feel the same way. I was a LOT better at first, now it's getting worse again. geesh...

so IS there a way to do raw that will finally help candida get into balance???? HELP!!

Yes, this condition as other autoimmune , are being closely linked to leaky gut as I have read about over and over. So I do honor that link.

Key points:

Any foods that irritate you or worsen you, stay away from

Repair gut lining--prevent toxins from bleeding into bloodtream

Probitoic to restore good bacteria--flora

Slough off dead cells of candida: for example, cinnamon is capable and so is elm powder that I use with another member here.

We took her off of fruits for 2 weeks and we are shooting for 3 then slowly add a piece here and there.

Important to clenase and rejuvenate the LIVER that is the key organ along --blood flow !

Cleansing needs to be consistent and effective.


I'm sorry I don't have candida but I do have autoimmune (psoriasis).

I am raw without fruit. My crutch has been carrot juice. I find that it tastes too sweet, as my taste buds are so sensitive to sweet now. But my body doesn't negatively react to it like it does to many fruits. I have been off fruit for a month, and 100% raw for 16 days. Yes, I am new at this.

If a recipe calls for a sweetener, I use juiced carrots. I also try to "balance" the taste in a recipe by using red bell pepper, which is very sweet. Corn is also very sweet. With time your taste buds adjust. For quick snacks, it is usually carrots or cucumber or grape tomatoes.

My hope is that my gut will heal as the candida leaves, and I will get to enjoy fruits again. What is my alternative? Going back to cooked food, never feeling quite right, and always having these candida-related problems? Candida is very difficult to eradicate, so my bets are with raw foods.

THanks you guys for writing. I was wondering-would you indulge me in a sample daily menu? I know it's probably different everyday, and I could figure it out myself, but sometimes it helps me to see an example of how people are eating. I'm sure it would help others too. Merci!!!

Hey, I won't disclose the member that is utilizing this menu as for this member's privacy unless she desires but this is a general guideline what we did and as of today, this person is having a good day today. No skin flareups to freak out about and her energy is steady!!!!!


I am NO doctor by all means but we connected well with our raw food passion and the fact that she does have experience with working with a TCM doctor and myself I have been brought up with TCM principles so one more reason we clicked. However, I disagreed to some of her doctors antodotes etc :eek: so really, it was a matter of trust etc.

The foods we chose, we went thru being very detailed about how she reacted,health history,responses to treatments to determine what foods would be good and what would not at this time. I'll be honest, some of the suggestions were soley intuition and I feel quite honored that she has trusted me this far.

I'm a sole believer in [repairing] gut lining. We did this with elm water for 10 days and monitored reactions before and after eating. (THIS IS #1 ON MY LIST FOR ANY HEALTH CONDITION)

Continued probiotics.

We removed all fruits period for two weeks.

she can have a few nuts if at all but only with greens

Eating is every 3 hours.

I suggest she have a little ginger or cayenne in the morning to give her "energy" as autoimmunie is energy draining.

We keep it simple as 3 or less ingredients.

Becuase body is fighitng against candida/toxins, at week 3 , we have switched to blending the food so she can use less energy to breakdwon foods and savor energy for sustaining and cleansing/healing.

We added a different probitoic/femerneted drink to enhance the sloughing off off candida cells,detox and rejuvenate flora plus this drink offers cellulase which breaksdown cellulose---sinc eshe is on greens, this will be of benefit to her.

We recently added 1 tsp of honey and cinnamon.


This is a genral outline and may have a few changes:

AM: Bouncing or exercise

Warm elm water 10 days

Lemon water (cayenne sometimes)

Green smoothie

in between meals. sips of water to stay hydrated

Could be a salad with few nuts

in between sips of water for hydration

Green smoothie or chopped veggies.

again, it's all greens and certain vegetables.

other healing modalities: Breathing exercises,bouncing,soaking,castor oil massage,hand and feet massage,aromatherapy.

We agree that simplew,consistent,very detailed monitoring is effective. Changing too much too often is confusing. So far we are feeling hopeful and good---i will talk to her again tonite. :)

I am bombarding my system with probiotics. I am currently taking Metagenics Ultra Flora, kefir (10 strains of bacteria), and Culturelle. I also read somewhere that you also want to be taking an anti-fungual at the same time. It seems to be working. Once I get this thing under control, I will probably just take the Culturelle to maintain so I don't have to eat dairy (this is temporary), or spend so much on the Metagenics which I really like.

How do you use the slippery elm? just powder in water? how much do you put in the water, and then just stir it up?

I can totally do probiotics.

I am a spiritual channel and when I get really stuck with something I sit at the computer and ask and my hands just type automatically. This is what came through for me regarding this issue. It surprised me:

GOD, please I am asking you-WHAT is causing my candida??? I thought raw food would cleanse and strengthen my body to be able to balance it out. But now it’s getting worse. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME? How can I balance myself and lower the candida??

We understand your concern. Here you thought you were doing the very best thing you could for your body and it seems to be getting worse. We understand your concern. What we wish to say to you dear one, is welcome to planet Earth. You see, none of you is immune from decay in your physical body. you are searching for physical immortality and a reversal of the aging process-however you have forgotten that everything in your world decays-as must you. Ah, yes, you might be saying, but I don’t have to have an ILLNESS. Surely, we say unto you, you don’t believe that you are ill, do you? Well, if I need an inhaler to breathe, I wouldn’t call that healthy. If it’s hard to walk up stairs, I wouldn’t call that healthy either.

We understand your feelings, dear one. What we wish to say to you is that you are not ill. You are not entirely well, either, as you are aware. Do you want to know how to heal your body and release these symptoms?

Yes! Very well-then our suggestion to you is: LOVE IT. LOVE your body. did you hear that? you are so busy looking for the ways it is going to let you down that you are not loving it. You may THINK that you ARE loving it, after all you are making this sacrifice of only eating raw foods, and so forth. However, what we say unto you is that you are making these choices, yes, but you are doing so with an attitude of, “I did this, now let’s see what YOU are doing to do”. Do you not know that your body responds to your thoughts? Do you understand that you have been subjecting it to judgemental thoughts in this way?

No, I had no idea I was doing that. yes, we are aware that you did not know this. Now you can start to see it. Look at your pattern-when you look at your current state of health, have you been saying, “pretty good! I’m really getting stronger!”? or have you been saying, “why am I not losing weight faster? How come I still have eczema?” you see the difference? Yes. Ok. Now you may want to know how to over come these symptoms-as in, what to say to yourself, right? For sure. Very well.

Your body is a living reflection of what you think about. If your thoughts are those that generate decay and breakdown, that is what you will experience. If your thoughts are uplifting and loving, then THAT is what you will experience. Do you understand this? Yes.


Ok. So imagine that every day when you woke up, the first thought in your mind was, “man, I love my body! it is SO amazing!!” can you imagine how that would resonate in your tissues. Well, try it now and you’ll see. I feel a lot of energy getting generated in my heart center when I say that sentence. Ok, now look and see what else happens-look specifically at the CELLULAR level. It feels like the cells are saying, “YES!” that’s the best way I can describe it. Ok, now, say this to your body, “are you skinny enough yet? Is your asthma gone yet?” I still feel energy in my center, but it feels more “down” and gray. That’s the only way I can describe it. Ok, now say it again and look at your cells, like last time. All I can say is it feels like a “negative” pole to the positive of the first statement. It feels like “anti-life”. It feels like that because it IS that!

now, how do you think raw food can help you overcome that when you are thinking negatively towards your body all the time? I see. I had no idea. You didn’t because you thought thinking like the last statement is what you are SUPPOSED to do if you want to make a positive change. But now you can see that energetically, it is not so positive, is it? Nope. Very good.

Now, you wanted to know what you should eat specifically to help heal your body. we understand your question and again ask this: from WHERE is that motivation coming? Is it because you LOVE your body so much that you just want to give it the most lifeforce rich nutrition you can find? Or is it because it’s inherently a failure and you want it to “get it together once and for all?” hmm. I see your point. I guess my motivation is really the latter. Yes, it is dear one.

You are basically taking one step forward, two steps back when you eat raw foods but think like you have been, you see. Yes, I do see. Ok. So-what we suggest is this. We suggest that you NO LONGER think of your body as something that is not doing what it’s supposed to be doing. We suggest that you think of your body ONLY as the AMAZING CREATION that it really is. How do you do that? you simply affirm as often as you can, and as consistently as you can, that it is the most amazing, wonderous thing that you’ve ever seen. Your lovely body is truly spectacular. Can you see what we are communicating here? Your body is one of a kind, marvelous, beautiful and special-and THAT’S why you want to give it raw food nutrition. Now can you see the difference? Yes, totally.

So are you saying that it doesn’t matter so much WHAT I EAT, it matters much more what I SAY and THINK about my body when it comes to healing it. That is PRECISELY what we are saying, dear one. You are getting this quickly. Now. We WOULD like to address your question about WHAT to eat more specifically.

You are aware that when you eat certain foods you have a reaction, such as with alcohol, grains and sweets. You can feel it, so you know what we are talking about. Now, since you know that you have a reaction to those certain things, we suggest that you do not eat them. Now there are other things that you have pleasant reactions to. We suggest that you focus on eating those kinds of foods.

Well, the thing is, I’m not really sure. I THINK that something is or isnt’ good for me and then I eat it later because I’m craving it, and then I don’t know if I was accurate in the first place-like with nut butters. And dried fruits.

We understand, dear one. But just like someone trying to quit smoking who knows that its’ not good for them, and craves the smoking for awhile after they quit, it doesn’t mean that the smoking must be good for them because they are craving it, you see. Yes, I do see. So when your body says it wants nut butters, or dried fruits or even cooked foods, you ask it, “how will I feel after I eat this?” and then your intuition will tell you, you see.


So, ask your body, “how will I feel if I eat this?” and then go a little further and Ask your cells how THEY will feel if you eat it. What we suggest is that you learn to ask your body what it wants that would make it feel even MORE marvelous, as the wonderously beautiful creation it is, and then ask how your body and cells feel about it. THEN you will see what you need to eat and what you don’t and you will find that it changes day to day. And is this the heart of intuitive eating? We would say this is an advanced form of intuitive eating.

Ok, so let me summarize:

1. affirm often and consistently: “man, I love my body. It is SO amazing!!”

2. ask my body what it wants

3. ask my body and my cells how what I think I want will effect them.

That’s a good practice to use. Really do this for a couple of days and you will start to see a pattern emerge that will guide you in the direction of healing. Very good, dear one. You have learned something significant tonight!! Thank you so much!!! We love you dear one!!! OM AH HUM
