not i thanks, but i have a friend who would if I could get him to go raw.. he brought one of the top ultra runners named [scott jurek] (http://www.scottjurek.com) to my attention, who happens to be a vegetarian.. he must eat a lot of raw fuel to do what he does..

isn't it incredible what the human body can do!? wow

i bet ultra sport would go to a new levels if people caught on to fueling their bodies properly.. who is the other guy Dean Koutenko or something like that.. I read his book when my friend was trying to get me going on it.. and he eats pretty healthy, and then eats cheesecake and pizza while he is out racing.. what if they were raw cheesecakes and pizza!? lol

Dean Karnazes and yes, he is pretty cool also! My husband always reads these inspirational books! He is going to run in the Chicago Marathon this year with the rest of the raw group running! Pretty Cool!

Have a great day,

This is Pansy's better half, Dean Karnazes will be running in the chicago marathon this fall, in fact dean will be running 50 marathons, in 50 days, in 50 different states, talk about motivation. Chicago will be marathon number 36 for dean in 36 days. Talk about legs of steel. Forever Young

Yes! I just met him several weeks ago in New York. He will be finishing in New York -- hopefully I will be running with him, provided I get chosen by the lottery process!

Hi Strawberry fields forever, That's great, Hope you get in to. What is the time limit in New York? How many get picked from the lottery? Forever Young

I'm not sure of the numbers, but know that about 50% of lottery applicants are picked -- this excludes those who qualify for a certain time, though I am not sure what this is. The maximum time limit, if this is what you mean, is over 5 hrs. I think it may be 8.
