YEAH! We are moving to Eugene, Oregon! I am so excited! But i wanted to know if there was anything out there?
I think we are looking to go to Whitaker, and it would be cool to know if there were any restaurants/cafes.
Also - we would love to hook up with some other raw folk. We are still looking for jobs and housing though....
We head out the beginning of may!

Eugene has a fabulous farmer's market, and some great regional events....a Renaissance Fair, etc.
We're just over the mounains from you in Bend. This is an amazing part of the country...the coast is wonderful, and there are abundant lakes and fabulous world class skiing at Mt. Batchelor. There is a raw community in Portland where they have potlucks and other events...it's about 1 1/2-2 hours from Eugene.
The world acclaimed Shakespearian festival is in Ashland, south of Eugene.

You are going to LOVE Eugene!
Don't miss the Oregon Country Fair! You have to get your tickets early and can order them online or downtown. It is WONDERFUL. Go on Friday when there are fewer people.
Also, Eugene has a lot of alternative type folks, so I know there are health food stores there. And in a pinch, you could always come to Portland once a month to stock up on raw supplies. If you need help in Portland, feel free to email me. I recommend People's Coop for raw nuts and seeds. Eugene has a huge farmer's market. And I KNOW there is a healthfood store in Cottage Grove, which is about 12 miles from Eugene.
