I used to have a great chart that listed monthly what fruits and I think veggies were in season.
It helped to keep the cost down because those foods happen to be the cheapest then too.
Do any of you have a list like that or can you lead me to one?
Thanks

I don't see bananas anywhere on that list!

That's funny, Jenna. Maybe it's because they're so ubiquitous, nobody thought of them!
'Course, this chart is for the U.S. -- and it definitely varies from the northern part of the U.S. to the southern.

You're welcome everyone!
I was thinking of that myself ya'll as far as the region or location for the chart...I pretty much (and maybe I think differently) went by the fact that most produce comes out of california and florida and considering most grocery stores stock form their suppliers, I figured 'any' Cali chart would suffice???
I'm going to see if there is one for organic and i'll post if there is.
Hmmm bananas, I don't think they ever go out of season. I mean I pretty much see them all year around? Interesting ;)
Divaitalia, I am anticipating on takin fencing in the summer and will be observing classses meanwhile! I would love to meet you in Seattle one of these days........cruise Pike Place!
