I was wondering if anyone has or knows anyone who has Fibromayalgia or Menieres Disease and how the raw diet has affected them. Thanks for your time,

Pat

There are several of us here - I am one, and another Melissa will chime in when she sees the post and there are some others. I have severe fibro and cfs, raw is definately helping. I am more clear headed and my pain is not as bad on most days. My energy is on the up for the most part as well. I also take magnesium supplements.

Hi and welcome!

I just clicked on "Search" (it's a button right above with a partially peeled banana) and typed in the word "Fibromyalgia" and clicked on "Search in Raw and Living Foods forum".

That took me to this page: http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/forum/search.php?searchid=24840 that has all thread that were previously started discussing F.M.

I'm sure you'll find lot's of info, success stories and more by reading these threads! :)

Best to you!

Hi there and welcome. I was never diagnosed with fibro but I had symptoms of it and I was diagnosed with chronic fatique. I have found that even though I'm not consistantly 100% raw yet for any length of time, eating high raw is the only thing that helped my pain and headaches. If I eat raw for a few days, the pain totally goes away. It comes back pretty quickly after just a couple of cooked vegan meals. I do notice that I feel the best when I eat simply. A lot of nuts and dehydrated food does not make me feel nearly as good as just fruit and salads does. Eating high raw has also helped my breast tenderness, severe digestive problems, depression, anxiety and some strange bladder tenderness. The only thing that raw hasn't helped a great deal with is my energy levels, but I'm convinced that once I go 100% and stay 100% raw that will improve too. I am thankful to have found raw. Go for it!!

Hi there and welcome! I was diagnosed with Fibro about 2 years ago, it is all but GONE now eating raw. I've been 100% raw for 2 1/2 months and feel wonderful. It takes some people longer to start feeling better. I have found that the longer you had fibro, the longer it will take to reverse, but it WILL, and that's the good news!
