help needed with quick reply button

Not sure this is the right place to ask. But, here goes. I keep trying to use the quick reply button and it keeps not letting me. Help

I just figured it out! You click on the little paper with the pen on it beside the QUOTE button at the bottom of each post. Then it takes the cursor down to the quick reply section. Easy!!!

Hi there,

If you click Post Quick Reply at the bottom of the screen without having first activated it by clicking on a reply button above, nothing happens.

The thing you have to remember is click the "pen and paper" icon ON THE POST to reply to it. Or click the Quote button to bring the original text down into your reply. But in most cases, when you do that, you should edit out all but the specific comment you are referring to using your normal CUT and PASTE functions.
