Are there any raw dressings that come premade at the health food store? Up Country Organics looks like it could be raw...

When I was vegan, I was using a kind....I think it was by a company called "Follow your Heart". It is refrigerated and most types contain no dairy or egg. I especially liked one that was lemon something, made with olive oil. I don't know if they're raw, but would be a good substitute if you're on the run/travelling and don't like to make/bring your own home-made.

if they are in a bottle or jar that is sealed, they are not raw, as they must be immersed in hot water to be sealed.
this is to the best of my knowledge.
most raw dressings, will alst up to 3 days to be safe in the fridge.
they are easy to make though
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup vinegar or lemon juice
1 tsp celtic sea salt, or any spice that you like
1 bunch of herbs, to flavor to your choice, basil, tarragon, parsly, or a combination
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup nuts as a binder so it won't separate
1 tablespoon sweetener, raisins, dates, agave, etc.
this is pretty basic, but is very good.
adjust to your tastes
you can add or subtract from there.

You might call Follow Your Heart in Canoga Park on those because they were refrigerated they may be raw yet, as RP says, if they've been bottled it's highly unlikely, plus, they do use a thickener if I remember correctly. I'd love to hear it if they are raw. I doubt they'd last as long as they do if raw though.
