Hi ljannise,

I am interested on how you lost 130 pounds, and CONGRATULATIONS on that! In your picture you look like a normal weight. Are you? Or do you have a few more pounds to go. Well either way you look great and I would like to hear about your story. Do you have it posted anywhere to refer me to or can you type me up the Reader's Digest version of your story please? :D

I am overweight. I have already lost a considerable amount even before raw. Before raw, I started gaining it back and started traditionally dieting and struggling and losing it again and then went on raw and I have been losing since on raw easier than traditional dieting at first. But it is getting harder and harder now. I'm thinking I may have to give up nuts for a while. I don't know yet. It's the only thing I really enjoy. I drink wheatgrass juice (easily tolerable), fresh fruit juice (okay), Ann Wigmore's Energy Soup (with mature greens until I grow the baby greens [barely tolerable-yuck]), very little fruit (okay), very little vegetables (aside from wheatgrass juice and what's in the Energy Soup, I use raw dressing made with seeds or nuts and oil to make it 'okay'), and some nuts or nut pate (enjoy!).

I drink wheatgrass juice, fresh squeezed juice, and energy soup for the extra healing aspects, after those it's hard to get much else in but usually have a some nuts just so I enjoy something each day but I may have to give that up. :(

Anyway I'd love to hear your story! ;)

Thanks so much. So do you eat the same way now? Or do you maybe eat more raw nuts and raw crackers? Or are you still in the weight loss phase? Are you plateauing? Or still losing slowly? The last 10 and 20 pounds are the hardest!

What do you normally eat in a normal day or two?

You said you lost your eye sight? But didn't say anything else about it. Did you get it back or are you blind? Is somebody reading this to you and typing for you?

Thanks for replying! :p

Minnie :D

Ljanisse,

I love your posts. You are straight forward and honest and I enjoy that. I feel that you speak your mind but in such a nice way.

For a reason unknown to me, your story is going to help me on my raw journey and quit the teeter-totter.

Thank you so much,

Divaitalia ;)

Thank you, ljannise, I was very inspired by your story, too.

Isn't this just the best thing, hearing how people have been successful on this diet?

It's 'made my day', as they say.

Blessings,

lily
