Anybody have a raw recipe for V8 juice? I used to love that stuff, but it's cooked, y'know?

I loved that stuff too! What I did was stare at the back of the can and get all the ingredients (well, the fruit/vegetable ones lol, not chemcials and salt). From what I can remember is I juiced the tomatoes, red bell pepper, celery, onion, spinach, and carrots together. Then I did the other greens seperately (since they have distinct flavor and too much can screw up the whole concoction!) and slowly combined the two taste testing until it was perfect. It won't taste exactly like V8 because it's thinner and more watery (not sure how else to make it thicker because I think the cooking process thickens it). Hope it goes well!

hey swingbolder,
How's it going?
I loved this drink too - boy, was it ever high in sodium  - I didn't care back then. Have you tried any experimentation; tomatos and celery, red bell pepper, garlic, 1 cup of water, little sea salt, carrot juice - or something like that?

I bet if you took the juicing product and blended it in blender with a whole tomato you would get a thicker consistency.

Below is a link with a good working recipe to put V8 together... I've had to tweak it a bit but did come up with something that has rivaled V8.
