Has anyone ever eaten SHEA BUTTER

:) Has anyone here ever come across food gradeable shea buuter or eaten Shea Butter? I googled it and came up with nothing so far.........

I sell it, I use it externally yet no, not eaten it. It is used in cooking in Africa. I do, or have had, a book which states that yet, not something I've tried myself although, now that you mention it, I may. Might give a nutty flavor to a smoothie.

Revvell, what kind do you sell? Is yours hand crafted SB?

I buy mine from a gentlemn from Ghana. It is hand crafted and nothing added. So, I was thinking about eating it but I wasn't too sure.....

One cannot always guarantee the quality of the shea because of the not so hygienic attitude in Africa which is why the lab testing. My supplier has seen them dig up the shea with dirty shovels, etc.
