This is so great! I have been all raw for a month and I do a free weight circuit workout in my house 2X a week, plus a cardio workout maybe 3-4 times a week on top of that. I just started doing the circuit training after a month of using dvd's like the firm a few days a week.

Today was my second day of the circuit workout and my gosh-I could ALREADY add weight to the same workout I did only 5 days ago! and my stamina during cardio has really increased.

THis is so funny because it completely flies in the face of conventional fitness nutrition theology-it's so great. 100% raw vegan, with no grain even (for me) and I am losing fat and getting gains in strength and stamina I NEVER got eating a low carb, high protein or whatever else kind of diet.

I can't wait until I meet all my physique goals to take an after photo and tell people this strong woman was created on RAW VEGAN FOODS! HA!

Congratz on getting stronger :D I've noticed the same thing in my cardio training and have been 95% raw for almost a month.

theresaann,

For inspiration I would look at Todd's recent entry in his journal on SADtoRAW. He has been experimenting with more lifting and the result are quite inspirational. :)

I found that I gain strength and definition VERY quickly on 100% raw. Now, I don't know how much of it is muscle memory from 10 years in gymnastics, but I can see results very quickly. Every other workout (so, every 4 days) with weigths I can either up the weight or the reps, but never both. I know eventually it'll even out haha.

I'm there with you too... I've been making tremendous gains in my running. I only started running six months ago, and just did a half marathon last Sunday! And even better than that, I ran 14 miles the Sunday before, at what I thought was an aggresive pace... but for my 1/2 marathon, I took 21 seconds of my average mile time, which I think is pretty decent.

Raw bodies are the best!

Wow that is very encouraging. I am doing cardio and weights and hopefully going more raw will help me with strength and stamina. I am still having issues with getting very hungry around lunch time so I tend to fall back into cooked food in that end. I have to do better!

Great work you guys!
