Hello. I am slowing starting RAW food. I was doing okay for a few weeks then started to get board so I have now ordered Alissa's book (since I love to cook, I figured there would be more prep work than what I am doing to give the feel of "cooking") . I am hoping that will help. I do feel much better with the little changes I have made. I want to go slow so I can slowly get my kids into eating the foods (they are 3 and 5 and picky like there dad).
My oldest child has a peanut and tree nut allergy - this is my only concern with the RAW food lifestyle. With the research I have done, nuts seem to be huge. I cannot have any nut products in my house.

Hi,
I am from Minneapolis, MN. Here is a thread I posted about Minneapolis. Also there is a raw vegan restaraunt in Minneapolis called Ecopolitan. www.ecopolitan.com. It is also a Eco health and wellness clinic in the same building owned by the same doctor. You can subcribe to their monthly e-newsletters. They have a weekly health & nutrition lecture free to the public.

Welcome and talk to you soon.
Oh, and about the nuts, can you eat seeds, like sunflower seeds?
