Just got back yesterday from a week doing disaster relief work with The Southern Baptist Disaster Volunteer Group in New Orleans. I was very concerned about going and doing my ray diet. So I packed all my fruit and nuts for a week and loaded up. I had never been with this group of men before so after meeting them and getting to know each other I dropped the boom on them about my diet and yes they sort of  alittle. We drove from here in west Tn. to New Orleans and all the way there they asked me all about my diet and was concerned that the hard labor we would be doing wouldn't go well with my eating habits but I asured them I'd hold my own and more. Well lets say after the second day they're view of my diet had changed . It amazies me how most people think that you can work more by eating hamburgers and food like that then by eating raw healthy food. Me being the man that I am my raw food diet anit fancy it's mostly just peel and eat and un-bag my seeds or nuts. But we stayed in a FEMA camp and in the mess tent they had a salad bar that helped out too.
But the reason I'm feeling yal in on this is for two reasons first I'm coming up fast on my 60th day and I been sort of living in a shell or my on controlled setting so it woulld be easer to do the diet but I see now that no matter were I go I can take my diet and care on and
The second thing ( and most important ) is please don't forget The people in New Orleans and all along the Gulf Coast, it's no way you can in your wildest dreams see how bad it is there and know how much they are still needing help until you see it in person!
Sorry if I rambled on some; Tim
