anyone in Alabama?

Hi,
My name is Stella. Almost 36, Taurus. Married 15 years. One georgeous 7 year old boy. One very fat cat (maybe I'll get him raw too :p ).

I live in Birmingham, Alabama. Work a desk job, job is boring, people at job are fabulous.

Have been 80% raw for 2 months. Going 100% raw this weekend.

Would be very interested to meet anyone in Alabama who is raw. Sometimes I feel that I'm the only raw person in the state. Which is, of course, the land of barbecue and moonpies.

Glad to be joining yall in this forum.

Oo Oo Me! Me! I live in Huntsville (lived in Birmingham for a year though--went to UAB). I have noticed quite a few more Alabamians on here (much more than I would have expected to see, too). But there are all kinds of people everywhere!

I am from Huntsville area - I wish we could get a monthly support/potluck started in North AL or Birmingham area. Wouldn't that be great. I have participated in Raw Nashville - a wonderful group - but too far to travel. I was 100% raw in '05 and going to be 100% in '07. It is a wonderful lifestyle for health and fitness. Glad to know there are other rawfooders in Alabama.

Maybe we could post to meet and hopefully others would participate? I am between Huntsville and B'ham. Is there any interest?
