Cake Cake/Sub for Walnuts ?

I would like to make the Carrot Cake recipe (Alissa's book of course!) and it calls for Walnuts. I don't do walnuts so has anyone done a sub here ? I don't do pecans either...so should i just forget this recipe and seek another that does not have the walnut ?

rawfigure, i would think you could subsitute with almonds or brazil nuts with no problem I don't think you will really see a difference, I have even substituted with ground flax seed to see how it would taste and I thought it was pretty darn good.
