View Full Version : How Long Does Raw Food "Keep"?

Can someone tell me about how long a raw dish will 'keep'? For example I really like the tomatoe sauce I've been making...will it keep in the fridge? how long?

I made a raw lasagna tonite and my husband and I love it (I'm quite frankly almost as addicted to raw 'cheese' as I am cow cheese) but we were wondering if it would keep well over a day or even two. And then there is the refridgeration issue. I'm used to refridging cooked items of course, but is it necessary with raw. All that stuff would be sitting out on my counter anyway, now it's just mixed up....

I would appreciate if any of you could tell me the things that keep better or worse than others...not counting dehydrated stuff of course...
