I know you offer supliments and use them yourself. And I have heard good things about some of them, but doesn't processing live foods destroy some of the "vital energy" or life force in the foods?
Using the dehydrated green foods would surely make it easier for me to get more nutrition but I guess I just need some convincing.....kirk

Do you mean dehydrating things? If so, the live enzymes don't break down until temperatures over 105 degrees. As long as you don't dehydrate over that, you're good.

Hi Kirk,
To some extent when you process any live foods it destroys some of the "vital energy" or life force in the foods but the supplements i sell, like the green food powder are not heated or frozen.
Its made with Alfalfa, Wheat Grass, Barley Grass Juices Barley Grass Juice, Japanese Chlorella, Spirulina Pacifica, Fresh Water Algae, Natural Fruit Extracts - From Citrus and Berries, Enzymes From Plants, and Asperguilus Origin Probiotics and Cultures, Brown Seaweed Extract.
There is nothing else in it, nothing 'cooked' and although it would be better to get all of this fresh before it is turned into a powder, most people are not going to be able to eat all of this and therefore be missing it completely.
I totally agree that if you can juice a large green juice in the morning with all of the essentials, like kale, Swiss chard, dandelion greens, collards, etc. that would be the best, but many people will not do that, thats why i offer this.
Also, this powder has other things like seaweed, probiotics, chlorella, etc. that many people are just not going to get otherwise.
So, although i believe that fresh is always better its not always realistic!
Also, i do make a huge green drink in the mornings, (actually Dennis does it so i cant really take the credit, i have him addicted!) but i still have been adding this to my shakes, and on the off days we dont have the green drink i have it.
Also when we have been traveling, i take it along with my tribest personal blender and whip up a smoothie on the road, its awesome!
As far a the protein powders go, again, same thing, they are not heated or freeze dried and the company has a lot of integrity about keeping their product under a certain temp to keep it raw while processing. I know that when anything is 'processed' it loses some integrity, but they are the best products ive found.
Same for my enzymes, they are the best ive taken or seen ever and i used to sell a lot of them when i owned a health food store. Most of them were junk!
So im really careful about what i sell.
Convinced? :o
Thanks Alissa & Kristi :)
I guess I really shouldn't be such a purist. It's really hard for me to wade trough all the advertising. (I'm so gullable you know.) I still have to aquire a taste for dark green leafy veggies. Maybe taking it in powder form would be better than none at all.

I understand. For years i didnt take anything at all and wanted to just get my nutrition from my food. Also i didnt know what to trust... what companies.
So now i use my intuition and thats why now ive been taking a few things. But im sure ill go back and forth and just try to listen to my body. I never feel good when i take too much 'other stuff '.
If your not doing any heavy green eating or juicing of greens then i would say yes, it may be a good idea if that feels right to you to try that.
I like mine because so many of the other products have sooo much stuff in it like herbs, cooked grains, etc.
Best,
Alissa
