I bought some testing seeds while I was waiting for my bulk seed mix of Red Clover, Alfalfa, Radish, Red Lentil, Green Lentil. I thought there would be instructions, thereÂ’s not. My testing seeds arenÂ’t doing so great only half grew. I obviously need HELP! I have instructions from my wheatgrass book on how to do wheatgrass, but not the seed mix. Should I do it the same, soak, sprout, and then plant or what? Also do I use as much? I am using these seeds to grow baby sprouts for Ann WigmoreÂ’s Energy Soup. Thanks. :p

No, you don't have to plant them. The only sprouts I do in planting mix are buckwheat and sunflower, and then just to give them something to root into so they can stand up.
Sprouting mix is overnight soak, and then rinse twice a day and keep damp, but not soaked. They need air to sprout. One easy way is to put on the sides of a bowl and cover with wet towel. Another way is between layers of damp paper towel.
