Hi everyone! Although this journey has taken a life-time, it truly does feel as though I am just beginning... I've been vegan (actually "Bee"gan because I do eat bee products! :o ) and have been enjoying a large portion of raw in my life... but now I'm ready to truly commit. I'm in the Chicago area and currently training to walk the 1/2 marathon ... my friend is actually running and I will be part of the cheering section, but thought it was a fantastic opportunity for me to train towards a goal...at the SanFrancisco marathon in July. I am enjoying all the learning I'm doing as I discover something new about raw each day... and looking forward with great anticipation to the changes I will see... xoxo

Hi Lindy and welcome!

Wishing you much success on your RAW Journey.

If you're seeking to lose or gain weight, get out the camera and take a few full length photos to compare with your after pictures. If you're already at a good weight this won't matter. But in my case and others, it is quite remarkable what a RAW journey can do just in terms of weight loss or weight gain. Plus, it is fun to view and share before/after photos with others. At least, for me it is...

Have fun and Rawk on!

Welcome, how awesome to train for the 1/2 marathon. I'm originally from Chicago...grew up there til I graduated college. My whole family is still there.
I love the four seasons BUT I definitely don't miss the wind shield factor and the snow. Except during the Holidays.
