Hello, I'm new here as well as new to eating a raw food diet. I've been playing around with it for two years since realizing I wasn't eating anything that wasn't canned, boxed, or otherwise processed and water didn't exist as anything besides something to bathe in or clean with.
Since then I've reached about consistently 50% raw, and I'm trying to go further. I'm on my own 30-day weaning off of cooked right now.
I'm 5'5", 193lbs as of this morning. I have noticed some changes lately, mostly that I don't have the chronic aches/pains and I don't have the chronic severe fatigue that's plaqued me for years now. I've also noticed an increase in zits and facial oils but I figure I must be detoxing.
Anyway, that's pretty much me. Mom of four children ages 10; soon to be 6; 4 and 2; homeschooling, freelance writer, musician, vocalist...military spouse.
