Hi all,

I just have a quick enquirey. Last week I went into my doc because he thought I might have pneumonia. I didn't have that, but my bp was around 188/105. He waited a week to see if it would go down. It didn't. Anyone have any experiences with going raw and seeing a drop in bp?

Thanks,

Jon

I've only been eating all raw for a few weeks, but I've already normalized my previously high blood pressure and cholesterol readings, and also lowered my average blood sugar enough that my doctor just decided on Wednesday to hold off a while on starting me on diabetic medication. He says I may not need that medication at all if this trend continues.

Thanks you for the info. This has become quite a shock to me. I had been quite active and hadn't been eating to poorly I thought.

Take Care,

Jon

It takes a lot of work for me to keep mine down, meaning I have to be very high raw for it to stay in the normal range. My doctor bugged me for 1 1/2 years to go on high blood pressure meds, but I told him know (as I know what they can do to you) and I just kept working at getting my raw up high and more consistant (still struggling with this but doing much better). My BP has seemed to come down far enough that he doesn't say anything and I never get turned away from donate blood now, for too high BP.

So eating raw did help my BP.

My blood pressure used to be 120/90, now 100/50(3.5 months all plant raw, okey some honey occasionally.)

I just read an article about someone who had this happen. The conclusion was that they were eating too many fruits and too many big meals. Eat 5 small meals throughout the day. Their own conclusion was that raw isn't for everyone.
I saw this thru the Creative Health Institute newsletter and could email it to you if you want.

On my doctor visit i had about 1 week ago my blood pressure was 82/64 ,I thought omg that is way to low but the doctor did not seem to worry about it,He said unless i have symptoms than its fine.I do take bp meds not for high bp but for my tachycardia,so since my blood pressure was always low before the meds its even lower now.
