I'm on day 6 and have gained some weight. anyone who reads this and is just starting don't worry its my own fault. I eat tons and tons of nuts . Its the easiest thing i can find to snack on so I do, b/c I love them. I seriously think I would eat about 2 or more cups a day which easily racks way above 2000 calories. Not what my body is used to at all! SO, I'm trying to find something to replace them that is easy to snack on and is also as flavorful and filling. I'm loving olives lately and think I might try those? Also, I'm bad about eating seaweed, just can't get used to the taste. But I love sushi the sad kind(vegie sushi rolls). Would it be better to eat those since the have seaweed in them or just not to eat nori at all?

You can eat nori or not eat nori, it is up to you. I haven't found one that I like yet, though I haven't gotten up the money to try Alissa's yet. I wish she had a smaller try out size though, it's alot to get if I don't like it!

But, as for snacks you can use alot of different things. I like nuts as well, so I mix them up with cut up celery and red bell pepper strips. They make a nice snack all together, the salty celery goes naturally with the nuts and all of the items are pleasently crispy, crunchy. Hmm. Also brings back pleasent memories of celery sticks filled with peanut butter. Yum! I also like pea pods, either type, another crunchy snack and either sweet or more savory depending on the type you choose. Carrots are another snack I like, along with slices of fruit like apples or oranges.

Hope that helps!

I love Alisssa's nori sheets, they taste better than the other seaweed sheets I've tried including the SAD kind. Try making nut pate' and spread it out thin on veg chips. that will reduce the calories.

I also like kale chips, they are crispy and salty.
