Guys, you have to check out these pictures from yani in the photo section.
Talk about motivation!
there are so many of you who are making amazing changes and look incredible, our own special smasty has been a huge motivator for everyone here also and so many more of you but i just had to point this out as she does not even look like the same person!
in an email that yani wrote me asking me if i wanted her before and after pictures she said this
"I can't tell you what has sustained me these
last 6 months because no one I know including everyone
in my house eats raw. I have endured what seems like
an endless battle of comments on how much time I spend
preparing and how much nuts cost and how much I talk
about how I feel. The struggle feels less for me and
most of the kids have been asking about going raw.
Without any guidance other than recipe books, I really
can't say I know what I''m doing. I'm just doing. I
know that I get up in the morning and exercise and I
eat raw and I work hard and I feel great."

I hope she doesnÂ’t mind me sharing that from a personal email she wrote me but i have to say, that just sums it all up for me. So many times i hear people calculating the amount of protein their getting, worrying about the amount of nuts they are eating and getting into their heads about detoxing and becoming deficient... all before they even begin the diet! JUST DO IT! Its a new year, get out of your heads, into life and like the slogan says JUST DO IT! Stop thinking so much, it works! but thereÂ’s one glitch.... you have to DO IT for it to WORK!
She is living proof!

Oh Yani, I am sooooo proud of you!!! You are amazing - and inspiring. Now I am 90-95% raw, and finding coworkers, family and friends wanting the recipes and books after I introduce them to what I am eating.. Yep, a raw revolution in the works! You introduced me to vegetarianism when you were in high school, remember? You are a born leader and a true teacher by example. I am delighted all over again that you are my daughter. Mom

Merry,

That is so sweet, handing your daughter her flowers now. Thank you, I am working on me, in hopes that my mom and dad too will see the fruit as you have. I am blessed to have them and I want to keep them for a really long time, and they keep me too :) .

I was so impressed by your pictures and story, Yani! You did a great, amazing job! (I posted below one of your after pictures.) Merry, it is SO nice that you are there to support your daughter and get healthy yourself! I wish I had that with my mom.

Blessings to you both!

I agree! That's extremely inspirational - thank you both so much!
I really think this sentence is going to help me - "I really
can't say I know what I''m doing. I'm just doing."
That's amazing, Thank you.
