Where do you all buy your raw nuts, seeds, and especially your nut butters?? In zehers the only nut butters they have are the Maranathon company ones that are not raw... and esp. in my area I can't find another option locally.

Thanks,
Sandra

Hi Sandra,

I'm an hour outside of Toronto and I buy most of my organic dried fruit and nuts at Whole Foods in Oakville. I also buy organic dried figs and apricots from my favorite local health food store. Whereabouts in Ontario are you?

The other week I was looking through the "suppliers" list for the Ontario Natural Food Co-Op and found a link to a nut-butter supplier that has a "raw almond butter".

Here is the ONFC website: http://www.onfc.ca
Here is the nut butter website: http://www.onceagainnutbutter.com/

I hope this helps!

Secret Heart... wow we have a whole foods in Ontario?? I had no idea. It's too far for me obviously b/c I'm in Windsor... but that's awesome! Hopefully one will come to my town. But I'm gonna go search the web to see if there is one in London.

Paprika... thanks a bunch for the links!! I shall go check them out now.

Too anyone... would anyone mind naming some company names/brands which makes "actual true" RAW nut butters.

:::waving to everyone:::
thanks for the help :p

Secret Heart: I have to learn not to post at five AM. I edited my post with the right link, the company for the nut butter is called "Once Again Nut Butter".
