Has anyone ever had unexplained bruises pop up?, this has been going on for a little while now with me on and off and I think well I don't remember bumping my knee and it always seems to be my knees and they don't hurt to touch which is strange. So just wondered if anyone else had noticed this?.

I use to get them frequently when I was very toxic and had alot of blood stagnancy. They would appear even if I lightly massage or was aplying pressure by sittng or pressing against something.
where on you your knees? :)

Hi misslinda you are always so kind to answer questions so thank you for your on going support. Nice to know that I'm not just imagining this, I get the bruises mainly on the inside of the knees. So are the bruises a good or bad thing?, and is there anything I can do to help this?. Thanks as always in advance for your help.

That's interesting. I've always bruised easily and lately even more so. I'm getting alot on the outside of my calves and some around my knees and on my thighs. I was wondering if it was a toxin thing or just my body being weird as usual! :p
Good to know my body isn't the only 'wierd' one out there. Hehe!

LOL..........yes mee to Jinxiekat. The bruis are the sides of my knees, hips, thighs etc.
I believe it's the build up of metabolic waste and toxins that cause stagnancy/blood toxicity that prevent the flow of healthy blood. I'm also thinking in terms of energy meridians as this area is a liver meridan and side of knees indicate spleen deficiency etc. That is my personal view.

But it is nice to know that there is others that are going through similar experiences kind of puts you mind at ease. Thanks for the little giggle we all need at least one of those a day HeHe!!!.

When you see the bruises on the inside of your knee's, do you notice in the morning while preparing for the day?
The reason I asked this is that, you may getting them when you sleep at night, if you sleep on your side and your knee's and leg's are touching each other. Along with what misslinda said, your own weight of your legs plus the detoxing factor togather causing the bruising.
Try putting a small pillow between both knee's at night, if your going to sleep on you side.
I know from my own experince. when I lost alot of my wieght I had to start using a pillow. I just could'nt sleep on my side any more like I used to. It just bugged me :)
anemia, perhaps? My ds was getting TERRIBLE bruises from the slightest touch.
My dh would just play-wrestle and ds would have finger marks, a partial hand print-it was awful! My pedi said increase the Vit C and I also gave him an herbal elixer of herbs that were high in iron. That seemed to fix it. (I'll try to find the name of the herbs...)

PATH301 Thanks for your reply, I notice the bruising when I take a bath more than any other time to tell you the truth and yes I do sleep on my side so could factor in to it too, but I have always been thin so you think I would have noticed it before now but thanks for the suggestions they are very much appreciated, i will try the pillow though just to see if it does make a difference. Thnaks.

Wow. I get bruises on my knees all of the time. Have them now. I always thought I was bumping them and just not noticing.

At first I was getting worried when I found bruises on my inner legs. I thought I was having iron deficency. Then I realized what it was. My son is learning to walk and he likes to stand on my legs when I'm sitting on the ground. I've always been an easy bruiser and it's not because of a deficency. I agree with Path. On raw we get less padding. :D Most of the time it's a good thing.

Add me to the list of those who get lots of tiny, seemingly inexplicable bruises. They do seem to heal quickly, and don't concern me much.
Medical science has such a poor understanding of nutrition that I don't put much stock in their tests and supposed findings and recommendations. (They tell you to consume animal products for your bones! Might as well tell people to smoke for healthier lungs)
Great suggestion, Path, about the pillow.

I used to get small bruises all over my legs and arms, before I was raw, now I don't get them anymore.
I never even thought of this, thanks for this thread,
Well, there you have another wonderful thing about raw.
I bruise without notice but this is because I'm a diabetic. Have your blood sugar tested. This probably is not the problem but to be on the safe side I would look into it.
