Hello everyone!
I have been reading the boards for about a month now to get a feel of what everyone does, feels, etc. I am impressed by the support!! I ordered Alissa's book and DVD and am very excited by the benefits of the "raw life".
I am on my 2nd day raw and am trying for 30. I feel great!! Last week I did a trial to see if I could do it--Went for 4 days-and realized this WAS something I could do. I did go thru a cleansing and it was not fun--really bad headache-and sick to my stomach. I expect it. My family supports me which is great. I will just be adding more raw to their diet as I go along.
I am amazed how great the food tastes and how full I feel.
I have around 40 pounds to lose-so I am excited to see the out-come of this way of living. I want also to feel better in general.
I do not have any questions at this time but when I do...I will seek support!!
God Bless you all!!
Have a Great Day
Anne :)

Hello Anne,
I am on day 6. What kind of a cleansing did you do? I am hesitant about colonics, but have heard that the herbal colon cleansers work well. I have juice fasted for a few days, and did get a headache. I am still having problems sleeping through the night, but my energy is good. I, too, am excited about the benefits of a raw diet! I can hardly wait to share testimonies of my amazing results! Good luck! :)

Thanks for the welcome! I did not do a cleansing, have fasted in the past. I have even done colonics...which I felt was very beneficial.
I am just taking it one day at a time!!!
This time I did not get a super bad headache, I munched on some celery when I felt one coming on, and it helped ALOT!!

Hey southern, where are you now??

Take care all
Anne :)
