WOW, I know that detox can be a pain, and all.

I would contact Alissa, she used to have candida and cured it with raw.

I hope someone else will be able to help you here.

I've had candida in the past, or yeast infections, dozens of them, but raw has just made everything better, no yeast flare ups at all.

Unless it is some other symptom, that I am not aware of.

Hope you feel better, are you taking probiotics, acidophylus, lactobacilus, bifidus, etc?

Hi
Sorry to hear that you are having such a difficult time.
I agree with RP. I suggest you contact Alissa.

I healed on raw by juicing vege and eating salads for 10 days. (I added whole apple and lemon juice to some juices)

Its important to drink plenty of water and rest.
Exercise also helps.
I added a peice of fruit each day (after 10 days) and built on this.
I now eat lots of fruit but try to eat fruit and fats at separate meals.
I understand that a water fast speeds up the process.

All I can say is that this worked for me.
I do hope your symptoms ease quickly,
blessings Indi

Indi? Was it Candida that you healed?

YES!!!!!!!!!

I still suggest that you contact Alissa.
Your current symptoms appear severe.
I'm sure she can advise you better than I.
RP says, Alissa used to have candida and cured it with raw.

Its a very common problem healed through a raw diet.

It may be in your interest to get a professional diagnosis, before embarking on any treatment plan ( if you havn't already done that)

This must be a very difficult time for you
Good luck with what ever you choose to do :)

Indi, you totally answered my question also. I was wondering how to eat to really zap the candida. I've got thrush on the outside of my mouth, even after being raw for the last 15 days. It's a big pain the *ss. Juicing greens and eating salads for 10 days, eh? and then adding one fruit a day after that. DId you eat any oil dressing, or other fat on your salads?

I'd love to hear an example day of diet for you during your candida cleanse and now, would you please post that?

Theresaann,

An example day
Pint Juice for breakfast (combination of veggies plus 1/2 whole lemon & an apple)

Pint Juice for lunch

Large salad in the evening, lots of greens, herbs, grated carrot, celery, onion, cucumber, grated beetroot. (I used pure lemon juice as a dressing)

All produce used was organic.
If I became hungry, I ate apples, celery or carrots

I drank lots of water, took lots of excercise and took time to rest.

It was quite easy to do when I got into it, especially when I started to see the results!
I did a lot of research, worked out a plan then decided to try this and see how I got on.

Having lived with this problem for so many years, trying all sorts of exclusion diets and natural therapies to heal my body, this approach worked for me :)
If you decide to try it, I would love to know how you get on!
Happy healing :)

excellent! thanks for the post! I am gonna think about this-I am not sure if I'm QUITE ready to let go of the salad dressing thing and the fats. I'm just raw, only 2 1/2 weeks so far, so I may wait just a few more weeks until I'm REALLY solid on raw before I cut out fats and most fruits....but I am definitely going to do this if the candida doesn't start clearing by then, and also, this looks like a really good alkalinizing approach just whenever. THanks for posting and I WILL let you know when I do it!

Just shared this in another thread, sorry to be repeating! But cutting out the fats seemed to really do it for me; I also started out with a two day water fast and lots of rest, and that was probabaly a large contributing factor as well. I now eat mostly fruit and some veggies, still limit the fats, and I've had no recurrences of candida.

I did have some extreme reactions when first dealing with it, however, and every now and then I'll have some extreme itchiness (for a few minutes, every few weeks or so), but it appears to be clearing up completely, and somewhere I read it takes a couple of years of clean eating and healthful living to get all the old "stuff" out of our systems.

Peace, Valerie

So, Indi, was this just a temporary diet to cure the candida and now you can eat differently? Or do you have to eat this way for life?

Best,
