Hello everyone,

I wanted to introduce myself here. My name is Chrissy Gala and I'm a Living on Live Food Teacher certified by Alissa Cohen. I have been involved in the health and fitness industry for the past 10 years and have experimented with almost every diet known. I truly believe that living on live food is the way to attain vibrant health. As I continue my journey in the raw I hope to help many people along the way. Keep on the raw path! You can do it!

Hi Chrissy!

Until a year ago I was living in Hackensack, 5 miles from Quintessance on the Upper West Side, shopping mostly in the city*, and trying to make sense of all this raw food stuff with a very dear friend who had been to Optimum Health Institute, was trying to maintain a raw life against horrendous odds, and who loved me enough to keep trying to get me to just try it.

Sorry we missed the opportunity to meet you while I was there.

OK, since you mentioned it, I just have to ask... what the heck is it, really?

It looks to me like a brown glove attacking a tan glove. Am I anywhere close?

I have stared and stared at this picture, and I still have absolutely no clue what it is, or why on earth someone who calls themself a raw food educator would choose it to represent themselves. (Truth be told, I could really say much the same of half the avatars folks use here)

I mean, what's wrong with using a face? :)

LOL ! it's picture of 2 feet in the sand ! I got to meet Chrissy,she is one of Alissa's cetrified instructors, I took level 1 training with her and she had an awesome raw dessert party too ! She is not far at all from NYC, you should check out her course schedule !!

The size of these avatars makes it difficult to see the detail in the pics. I will change my avatar often. This new pic was taken on one of the islands at Sandy Hook. Avatars are just pics and most interestingly don't have to be faces. I am more than just my human form. I love the beauty of nature. When someone looks at my pictures for longer than one second it served it's purpose. I'm not fond of posed pictures and can't spend more than a minute flipping through most photos. Maybe I will attach a link to view some of my albums.

Yeah, this part of Jersey I would like to move away from. I'm thinking PA in the near future. I'd like to actually own some property, and here I am lucky to get a little fenced in yard with a mortgage that owns me if you know what I mean. I'd like to visit your area. I'll keep you posted. :)

I'm just getting back into raw eating, and looking to go 100%. I'm from south jersey so will definately be trying to attend a class soon. Great to see someone else from the area with some knowledge for sure. :D
