I did about three of weeks transitioning to all raw.
I mainly juiced greens, with salads in the evening.
I was about 80-90% with the occasional totally raw day.
I felt good but struggled a little with cravings and bloating.
18 days ago i started eating totally raw.
The only un raw thing i put into my body is the occasinal mug of organic peppermint tea (which i drink warm)
I wanted to share that i have found it so much easier not to eat any cooked food. I dont have cravings and dont get 'mouth hungry'
I am still cooking for my family.
I dont even taste the dish for seasoning. (I get them to do it as they will be the ones eating it!)
I know its early days, but I wanted to share my findings so far.
I havnt followed any particular diet, as i have been experimenting and just finding my own way. I have done many exclusion diets in the past to help heal myself. I just wanted to take some time, research a little before diving in.
I have just ordered a copy of Living on live food as I wish to try out these fantastic dishes you all post about and pick up tips to help me to stay raw!
I have already listed the many benefits of this diet on a recent post.
I have always had a healthy veggie / vegan diet and done lots of exercise so could not understand where i was going so wrong!
I usually maintain a positive attitude, but its hard when you are struggling with illness.
I know in my heart that i have left all that behind me now.
I have a huge indication as to what is happening on my inside as i can see whats happening on the outside....
In just a few short weeks I look so much younger and have so much energy and feel so well!
Many have commented.
I would like to say thank you to all of you who take the time to work and post on this site as you have all contributed to changing my life!
I could not have done this without you...
Smiles all the way! :) :) :) :) :)
