Just wanted to share...

I've had a wart on my foot since I can remember, a doctor said it was a Plantar wart but I was never brave enough to get it burned off. So... it spread! And I ended up with about 6 or 7...yuck! It looked disastrous! My bf said it probably needed some medical attention asap, but I still was never brave enough.

And when I went Raw, within a month or two, they began vanishing, one by one, dying off. Now I have a very beautiful foot!

I didn't think Warts could disappear like that! I really didn't!

I am waiting for some things to heal up as well, and when they do i'll be able to report too.

Sun_Child,

I used to have those on my feet too and I literally ripped them out with a tweezers. It REALLY hurt. It did not occur to me to go to a doctor.

OMG OUCH!!! How the heck did you manage to do that? Gosh you're brave!
Were the roots long? I'm not sure what they look like....what do they look like once they are out?

And can anyone really come up with an explanation on how mine vanished? I mean, there's nothing left! lol

Sure, I'll take a crack at it. Warts are cause by viruses. Eating raw boosts your immune system, so it can fight off those viruses.

Warts are caused by a virus. They can come and go at any time, if you are prone to them. Some people are prone and some aren't. If you get a wart again, try putting duct tape on it. The occlusion of the tape will keep it from spreading and will make it go away.

I do the same as Karenisraw, in the early stages, when they are small, I have clipped them out with small nail clippers.
It works!
As people have posted, plantar warts, caused by a virus, are a sign of a struggling immune system.
Proof that raw is working for you!
Thats fantastic!

RIP IT - CUT IT - TEAR IT OFF....LOLOL,
I Used to get these little round calcuim deposit on my check bone, I got tired of them not going away - so whiped out my pocket knife slit my skin and pop that little deposit right out. So far no returns. Healed up nicely..I am a regular surgeon :D

All this talk about ripping warts out is freaking me out.

Y'all have just been lucky with your self surgery, because cutting warts out can actually SPREAD the virus, sometimes giving you a bumper crop later. Sheeeeshhhh!

The most foolproof way to deal with warts, without resorting to medication, is to freeze them off. Doctors typically do this with liquid nitrogen, which "burns" the wart with extreme cold. After a few days the dead tissue just falls off naturally.

And now you can actually get a home removal kit for warts at some pharmacies which works the same way, using a pressurized can of a refrigerant gas to freeze the wart. I've seen it under the Dr. Scholl's brand name.

So put away those clippers and knives.

I used GSE (Grapefruit Seed Extract) on my sons warts and they were gone within a week. I got the tip here on another thread. :)

My son had cauliflower growths of warts last year on one foot-it was horrendous. He's only 9, and having worked for a dermatologist and administered the Nitrous oxide treatment myself (the freezing) I knew how much it hurt people-esp. kids. So I went to drug store and found an topical acid, I think it's concentrated salicylic acid (OTC-over the counter) and it was great-in about one week of applying it night and day and then covering with a bandaid, all those suckers peeled right off with no pain at all. ANd they haven't come back. The stuff worked great and saved the $50 a shot and the pain that goes with it at the derm's office (no health insurance...)

COOL!!!

I had a wart when I was a kid & I was told to rub chalk on it, it worked! Never had one since!

I had one small wart on my left pointer finger, right by the nail, when I was a kid, my mom had the doctor do something to it, it turned black and went away, my skin has always been very sensative and splits easily there, always a hang nail, extremely painful, for all of these years.

I had a small wart/mole/bump on my lip a few years ago,
exacto knife too care of that, no pain, no sensitivity no issues.

I used to get these baby white bumps on my eyelids, the calcium in the cheekbones reminded me.

I just exacto'd them off too, no recurrance

Most of you know how I feel about doctors.

I'd rather take it into my own hands and rip it out, tear it off, cut it out with my own sterile exacto knife, than pay someone $500 to attempt to do it, and leave a huge scar--had this happen too, or to give me staff, and then antibiotics, return visits, stitches, sheesh, NOT FOR ME.

I'm the witch doctor for my family, I'll take care of it, LOL

Hey Path, I get those calcium deposits too... I think those must be hereditary, all 3 of my boys get them and my mom has them too! I have the worst ones on my nose, where it meets my face. Those won't come out. If I catch them when they're new, I do what you did and get rid of them, but the old ones are there to stay. I hope raw makes them go away.. I hate those danged things!

Hey! I am another person who gets calcium deposits. My mom has a few also. I'm also waiting to see what raw does to them.

Well, I can offer some hope on the calcium deposits. Mine started to "die". I say "die" because everytime I would go after them, they would seem to go through a process of dieing. Mine started to all on their own. it was painful, but I was proud because I knew RAW was doing it. For me, it was like one of those little miracles because you know how tough those things can be.

What's this about a penny? What do you do with it?

I've had a wart on my left index finger for about 2 years now. I've had duct tape on it for a couple months (I refuse to see a doctor for this) and while it has shrunk down some, it's just not going away. Tell me how to get rid of it with the penny please?
Thanks!

Dear Shivananda,
My daughter had a wart on the heel of her foot. We visited the practice nurse every friday afternoon for eight weeks. Each time she scraped away the dead skin and froze it. The treatment was painful.
My daughter spent the weekend limping and feeling very uncomfortable.

After eight weeks, she refused further treatment.
I clipped the wart out and she has no further problems.
That was over three years ago.

I hear your concerns, however, I will stick to the clipper method thanks!
Mind you, my grandfather pulled his teeth out with pliers, rather than visit the dentist!
It must run in the blood! LOL! :)

Believe it or not, my Grandmother used to "buy" my warts.

She'd pay me a quarter a piece. A lot in those days.

They'd be gone in a few days.

Warts, like many viruses and conditions, can be got rid of with focus and mindset.

She bought 'em. My mind was convinced. They left me.

How do you know what you have are calcium deposits or whiteheads or what? LOL I have a lot of white bumps under my eyes where dark circles would appear. I thought they were just whiteheads because i thought the makeup I wore there to cover up dark circles clogged my pores, but they have never gone away. and, one time i think one got infected and it became a big zit by my eye. and of course i popped it because i can't stand zits that have white heads and after i popped it, i thought i had a hole in my face because i saw one! But it went away. Anyone have similar experience or can give further info? THanks!
