I am considering on buying a Champion Juicer or a Omega 4000, I am looking for something that can really juice an apple without all the pulp, can take take large chunks and possbily juice wheatgrass? Any suggessstions? :)

My sincere suggestion, having used both... don't get either of them.
For one thing, though "tried and true," these two models are also way, way old fashioned designs that have been eclipsed by newer machines which are faster and easier and more efficient. In a year's worth of heavy juicing, for example, a Champion will easily cost double its original purchase price because of all the juice it wastes over what a newer style masticating juicer produces.
If you need a single juicer that can juice apples well AND juice wheatgrass, only a masticating (chewing) juicer, either a single auger machine like the Omega 8005 or the Samson, or a double auger machine like the GreenStar or GreenPower will really do the trick.
This type is versatile, yes, but slow. I would not recommend it to someone who primarily wants to juice apples, carrots, beets, pineapples, etc. For those firm but watery fruits and vegetables a continuous centrifugal type juicer like the Breville Juice Fountain (see a whole 'nother thread on that kind at http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11134 ) is much faster, and thus, a lot more practical. And a juicer that is quick and practical is something you'll probably use more often, thus gaining more net nutritional benefit.
For wheatgrass juicing a specialized juicer is best. For occasional to medium use for wheatgrass, the new handcranked lexan jobbies from Korea are amazing (and only $60-90) and way, way more practical than the old style tin-plated iron ones. For mostly wheatgrass and occasional fruit and veggie juicing I'd swing back to the Omega 8005 et al.
In other words, it all depends on how it will actually be used.

Shivananda Deva, Welcome to the board. You are a nice new addition with your knowledge on the various Juicers. I was reading your post on the Breville, and I have a few questions about Juicers.
I bought a Breville when I first started doing the Green Drinks. I use mostly leaf greens, apple, lemon, cucumber and celelry. I rarely juice just fruit. While it "works" on the greens I find I get lots of spitting out the chute edges and probably do not get Max Juice from them.
For the Kale, Romaine, Collards and the leafy type greens which Juicer would you recommend purchase ?

I just ordered my Omega 8005 last night. I can hardly wait to get it. I did my usual glut of research and for what I want, a juicer than can do fruit and veggies and greens, it seemed to be the best bet. It isn't the most expensive either and several people commented on that it is easy to clean, another bonus! As soon as I get it I'll drop a review on here as well. It's nice to see confirmation that I got a good machine though! Thanks Shivananda!

I did some more rasearch, the reason I liked the Champion so much is because it could make butters and frozend ice cream from fruit, but it looks like the Omega 8500 can do that to. So know I am confident that I will go with the Omega 8500 because it can also juice wheatgrass as well.
And a 10 Year warranty is fabulous.
Thanks Shivananda :p

If leafy greens are your focus, then the Omega 8005 is definitely a great choice (at about $230 on the net). I have a preceding model, (but they are very, very similar), and I juice fresh tender basil for culinary oils and vinegars with mine... it's about as tough a juicing task as you can tackle... and nothing does any better job until you spend twice the money (ie., GreenStar), and even then the improvement is only maybe 5% or so.

Thanks I will order the Omega. I also like to do the tender herbs.
