Are they also called something else? They do have to be fresh don't they, and not dried?

I don't know if master cleanse has to have fresh or not, but I've only seen Cayenne pepper in the dried spice form. Frontier, who makes very nice spices, says they dry their stuff at a low temp so they should be raw. I've used their Cayenne and whoo.. it has a nice kick!

I have an jar of organic dried cayenne that is the whole foods brand. it's zippy and doesn't leave a bad aftertaste!

no, you dont use fresh peppers for the mc, you can find cayenne pepper in the spice section of your hfs
