My son (18 years) just walked out the door (for work) telling me that he decided to go RAW for Lent (that's 40 days!). And ask me to figure out some things he could take for lunch -- he works 2-10 pm.

I'm so excited!! Feel like dancing!!! If my husband would say that you'd have to come and revive me or pull me off the ceiling.

Oh, oh, oh, got to get busy and figure out some ideas for lunch for him!

And would really appreciate any lunch ideas from you! (He does have a refrigerator at work.)

Off I go --- dancing in excitement!!!!! :D :) :D :) :D :) ;)

I know what you mean. My mom is trying Raw starting thursday for ten days! I'm so happy cus now she can join me for family dinners on sunday and I won't be the odd one out eating my own special meal. Plus she might really like it and stick to it. She's already a vegetarian. I also have another friend who is about to try it out she will do about 80% I'm guessing. I'm trying to give her some tips and have been recommending websites. If they stick to it I know they'll love it.

Stuffed red peppers. Fill with anything......pate, tuna, corn salad, chopped spinch salald. They are great. They hold thier shape and are easy to transport.

Stuffed celery and apple slices with almond butter.........I could eat this everyday.

If he's not vegan, raw cheese. You can make a great sandwhich with it. This can work for people in transtition if they aren't vegan. It's raw, but it is an animal product so I know some people won't eat it. My hubby will eat that.

Good Luck.
