Alright gang, I need your most impressive recipe ideas. My family is having a birthday party for me tomorrow night and they want to prepare some raw dishes (aren't they soo nice? Even though they are all on Atkins! lol...) So, it's my opportunity to share with them the best of the best raw dishes so that they will be BLOWN away by how yummy raw can be.

Any ideas? Finger foods? Desserts? Dishes to share? I don't have a dehydrator yet, so it has to be blender/food processor-friendly.

I am already planning on some good soups and date nut torte but that's about all I feel confident sharing with them.

Thanks in advance and HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

You have Alissa's book right? The pecan pie is deeeeee-licious; strawberry crepes...mmmm; blueberry pie...the cheesecake...YUMMY! As you can see, I'm a dessert person :D

I used it as a dip for flax crackers but you could also use raw veggies. I made a pesto that was a cross between the two recipes in Alyssa's book.

You did well with your PAD Thai, also the banana creme pie and go over to www.fromsadtoraw.com - try those with the pictures. I also like the mocj salmon pate.

Happy Birthday to you - happy birthday !

My husband and I love marinated veggies.

What about an assortment of smoothies to sample?

Fresh fruit salad

Raw sushi

just some ideas..

Let us know how the party goes. Does your family know that you're raw?
