OK, this is soooooo good!

I've made raw apple pie with a crust, but I find the following recipe more tasty, with a more satisfying texture, and it's so easy! Takes 10 minutes or less to throw together...just a cutting board and knife required. Looks pretty, too.

We eat this for breakfast, but it would make a great party/potluck dish in larger quantities.

Kudos and thanks to my partner, David, who made this up one morning.

For one large serving, place all ingredients in large bowl and toss well:

1 large Granny Smith apple, diced (tart apples taste best in this recipe)
1 handful cashews
1 handful walnut pieces
1 handful raisins
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 healthy dollop of agave nectar (maybe 2 T?)
1 heaping T almond butter (this is critical for taste and consistency)
Ample cinnamon (I just shake a lot on)
Celtic sea salt to taste (add enough to bring out the flavor)

Toss well until everything's evenly coated. Enjoy!
