So I was just wondering I understand this is a Vegan Raw diet. But whats wrong with the raw fish they put on things like sushi. It isn't cooked and when it comes to shrimp and eel they are very tasty uncooked. Is that alright or just a plain no. Also, I've been soaking my walnuts and they expand into huge walnuts. Is that whats really happening or am I just imagining it!
Anyways I'm on day 7 and am absolutely loving it. My tiredness is all gone and my mind is definently alot clearer than it has in days!

Well, yes, it is a raw vegan site and we don't normally discuss the eating of dead animals here.
What's wrong with the eating of dead flesh is, our bodies were not made to be graveyards AND, most fish now contain huge amounts of mercury. Shrimp especially are bottom feeders. Might I suggest you google more info on fish as this thread will most likely be locked or deleted soon. :)
Walnuts are quite porous and when they are soaked, they absorb a lot of water. I've soaked them before and then dehydrated them. Personally like them better that way. Removes some of the bitterness.

Macybare,
Did you think that this diet included raw meats/seafoods ? :D Yes, Revvell is right everyting is fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds and grains. You'll find that some people prefer to stay more fruity or veggie. Some will dehydrate more and some will not.
You'll notice other nuts expanding like cashews and almonds. Dried fruits expand and even oats.
Oh so great to hear you caught your second wind! :)

The shrimp and eel at the majority of sushi restaurants are cooked. Most places will not risk the shrimp and eel raw it is too dangerous for them to serve..so what does that say ?
but since this is a vegan site I will close here..not the place for fish talk !
