Is this true....I know someone out here knows, I was reading an article on "good carbs"..flax was listed and when I saw the 53 grams of fat I wondered about it

100grams? That's almost a quarter lb. I don't think you want to eat that much flax at one time.

I think lots of nuts and seeds are around 50% fat--in fact, I think flax might be slightly lower in fat percentage-wise than many other nuts and seeds, so I'm not surprised.

Remember, the fat in flax is especially good for you; and as Meteor says, you probably wouldn't want to be eating 100grams of flax at a time anyway.

Yes but it is essential fatty acids and please note the word esential.
