I sa a thread on a danish spiritual baord on going raw and thought it was just me, my bf was all as exited as I was and so we ordered some boxed organic fruit and veggies which has just arrived today. I wanted to finnish off my sad diet properly but nothing of what I have eaten of my favorite food have seemed really good to me. It have not tasted as nice and I have had issues with my stomach since saturday (we made the decision friday). And all that while I have dreamed about some of the recipes I've seen on here, especially the ones with guacamole.. Seems like my body knows what it wants! Good thing is that my mind now knows it too.. Thanks for the inspiration all! Hopefully I will be able to return it as I start being raw myself..
:D yay for the first day in the rest of my life!

That is so wonderful! It sounds like your are really ready to start this journey, and so helpful that you have someone close to support you. I can relate to the guacamole, I love the stuff myself. I'm an avacado freek! :D

Hi JinxieKat!
Do you have a good reciept for guacamole? I made it last night and I think there was too much onion in it, tasted too sharply.. First time I ever made though, so plenty room for improvement lol

Here's mine, and I love it. However with fruits and veggies size varies a lot, so if you think you need more/less of something then by all means, change it :)
4 avocados, mashed with a potatoe masher
1/2 - 1 lime
1/2 tsp salt, more to taste
chillies to taste. I usually use the tiny asian ones, I'm not sure what they are called but they are really spicy. One is plenty for my guacamole. I'd use at least one regular red chilli just to get the right flavor
1/2 red onion, I always use red onions as they are milder
chopped cilantro (it's called koriander here in norway, so it's probably something like that in danish too) to taste
Mix everything well and taste. Add more lime, salt, chilli or cilantro as needed
2 tomatoes, chopped
Gently stir in tomatoes
I make this all the time, and I love it. I do buy lots of chillis and cilantor and then I freeze the chillis and pull the corianderleaves of the stems and freexe those too. When I need either one I take out one of the time, chop chilli with a sharp knife. The cilantro can be added and crushed with a spoon.

I'm danish too, and we order from "aarstiderne" (aka "the seasons") to get ecological fruit and veg, and to avoid carrying so much from the store. It actually pays, now that we eat so much of it.

Ooo You wouldn't like my guacamole recipie, I love onions. Though I just throw in what ever sounds good that day. I've done onions, tomatos, cayanne pepper, lime juice, lemon juice. Most of the time I just do a generous dash of cayenne pepper though. I like to make it fresh and eat it right away. I bring an avacado to work and my spice bottle to keep it simple. Just play with it, you'll find what you like!

We are just mom and me. We order one big fruit box and a minor veg box, and add extra stuff we think we may want that week, on top of that. This is a new thing for us, so we still buy things like cocoa or sirup from other places.
I'll go look for your mail and mail or PM you. :)
